Hi there,
This new Bug Bear virus came out in the last 48 hours. The Symantec removal tool was last updated in January 2003, so I doubt if it is bug bear 'B' aware....

On further investigations, there is a Symantec version of the fix program for Bug Bear 'B' at this location...

to screen all my mail before I download it which lets me filter out a lot of this stuff but still and all, this is out of control.
The worst is when I receive an infected message with my own e-mail address on it. Scary.
The latest barrage of messages have come from support@microsoft.com. Some days I get a dozen or so messages from this one address alone. I asked Earthlink to filter this address, but do you think they would? (answer is no) and now I am receiving the same messages from different infected computers.
