Open/Save As Dialog Boxes

Although in "Folder Options: View" I have "Details" set to be Applied to All Folders, in XX Pro 4 when I choose "Open" the Open Dialog box always comes up set to Thumbnails. The same is true of the "Save As" dialog box. It does not appear to be an option I can set in "Utilities." This doesn't seem to happen in other applications, e.g., Word.

I would like them to aways come up set to "details."

Charlie, do a search on save or details or thumbnails. There was a fairly recent post regarding this matter.

Thanks, Egg. I had a heck of a time finding it, bu in the end I found a "hack" by Sledger that pointed me to how to set it up for Thumbnail view. I did the opposite and now I get List View instead, which what I wanted.
