Default Replication of guides over other pages

    Hi,

    Imagine the following situation:
You're designing a multiple page document (brochure), which you start off with a basic set of well-thought-through guides.
By using Edit - Pages - Duplicate page, you can create a new page with the same guides. Perfect.
Now, after a couple of days/weeks of work and having added and edited a fair number of pages with new guides here and there, it would be nice to sort off replicate those additional guides to the other pages.
This would be very helpful in preserving consistency throughout the document.

For now there's copying the position of the guide via RMB-click properties and creating new guides for each of the pages and adjust their positions. Kind'a tedious.

An additional RMB-menu option "Copy to other pages" or "Replicate throughout document" would be a great help here.

Oh yes. I agree! I have often needed this for storyboarding.

I think the ability to have a "Master Page" would be better than replicating guides and this has been asked for well before the current new release. Having said that you have got to remember that XPro is a drawing programme not DTP programme but like many other vector programmes it has the ability to publish successfully things like newsletter and the like. Yes I would agree with you as well!
    Design is thinking made visual.

There is one way to accomplish that comes to mind.

Create your guidelines as actual lines. Then copy and paste the line onto the Guideline Layer.

Or set up your guidelines on a master page, then when you create a new page the guidelines will appear on each new page.
