clipview large text crashes x4xtreme

Yes.

I am a new user. Last days doing several experiments on Xara Xtreme4. Faster, no doubts. But when I have tried add clipview over a large amount of text, the program just freeze.

Try yourself.

Fill a complete page with text (use Ctrl+shif+L). Put a square under it. Select them. Press "Q". What you get?

The same effect can be easily made in CorelDraw with powerclip and in Illlustrator with masking clip. Without problems.

So, I have found no commentaries in this forum about the "clipview text" issue.

no problems with an A3 landscape page, an A0 page or a double page spread

using default arial 10pnt

if you give a few more details - or post up a file, we may be able to help better

No problems here either - at any size of paper or font.

As suggested, perhaps you could upload an example file that causes a problems for you?

No, I can't reproduce that either.

I tried it and strangely enough, the same thing happens to me.
XXP4 (latest DL) under Vista SP1

Xara instantly freezes and I have to kill it via the Task manager.

Maybe this is a Vista-related problem?
