In Utilities > Custom Key Short-cuts, the first item is, "1 to 1 Node Mapping".
I couldn't find anything when searching the Help file.
Does anyone know what this means (does)?

It's for the blend tool. Select it and check out the buttons in the toolbar.
Hmmmm ... I see what that does, but was 'Blend Along A Curve' there in the old days - in v3? Or did I just never notice it?
And if you can rotate along a curve...here is some railway track for my map - you can bend it, add points etc etc. I tried making a brush the other week but this works much better for that use.

couldn't remember what it was so I assigned a key to it to try it out
didn't anything of course at first since I didn't try it in blend tool
when I read your reply and did the info button refused to toggle
guess not a problem in practice as I don't imagine many would want a key s/c for this but would use the info bar, still thought I'd mention it

Hi Simon,
Yes Blend Along a Curve has been there at least since Xara X and probably in the CorelXara releases before that.

Thanks, all.
I've used it before when blending, I just couldn't remember the name association.
60 is just around the corner ....
Node: past tense of the verb to know.
viz: "If I'd node mapping I'd not have got lost!"

Many times when one is using a blend to create shape at regular intervals, the 1 to 1 node mapping keeps the blend from reversing on you when you twist past 90...
See attached pic...
right thanks john

Also, sometimes when you are blending two objects and the intermediate steps do not look right, try pressing the 1:1 icon. Sometimes it works. Sometimes it doesn't. But it is worth a try.
