I made this basketweave tile from a four colour fill rectangle
on the right. The .xar file is free to a good home.
Looks better in the .xar file than here on the forum.
Odd effects when zooming in and out, the pattern seems to change.
Saludos,
Bob.

Thanks Bob I'll give it a home.
I've found with some of my doodles that bitmapping is the only way to fix the pattern. Of course, they then make good fills.

Thanks Bob,
It creates an interesting texture.
Strange colour for a basket though.
True love is the ultimate truth
More basketweave tiles, the top 2 are just 2 colour linear fills,
that have been cloned, flipped and moved horizontally with
the arrow keys to butt against the original.
These are grouped and cloned and flipped and moved vertically
with the arrow keys to butt against the top 2.
Process repeated untill 16 squares are made.
The bottom 2 are made by overlaying one 16 tile group over the
other and adding 4 point transparencies (mixed or stained glass etc.).
Hope these look more realistic colours for baskets, Anas, but as there
are basketweave knitting patterns, I imagine they can be any colour
you like.
Saludos,
Bob.

Nice textures Bob.

This thread, not surprisingly, became buried under a welter of
posts, following the welcome news of the release of Xara Xtreme 4.
But I felt I ought to reply to new posts in this thread.
John, I like your version, a nice choice of colours.
Frances, very clever to put a different fill on the inside of the basket.
Tasty looking bread, too.

Bob.
