Pages in Xara Extreme

I am sure that I have done multiple pages in Xara before, but I cannot find how to do it now. There seems to be nothing in Help, but it does show how to print multiple pages, but not how to create them.

Am I senile, forgetful or just drunk - or maybe suffering from delusions?

There's Edit->Pages->New Page to add a new page to your document.

I'm not 100% sure if Xtreme has multi page support or if only XtremePro has it, as I currently only have Pro installed. I think though that the 3.2 update brought Xtreme in line wth the features that Pro has.

In any case, if that menu item isn't there, then at least you know you're not delusional!

Go to Edit-> Pages-> New Page to create a new page.

[EDIT] Seems 0dat was faster.... Multi-page support is only available in the Pro version of Xara Xtreme.

There is always the create ne page button... It is on my standard toolbar. If not on yours, look in the button pallet. (Ya have to have the Pro version I think)

Yes only available with Pro.
I think there's a work-around using layers for multiple pages. Never tried myself, but I do recall something about it.

You can only add/remove new pages in XXP - but XX can open, view and edit multipage files. XX does not have the 'Pages' submenu on the 'Edit' menu that XXP has, but multiple pages show nevertheless.

I know there is a way in standard Xtreme to add a kind of second page. I have Pro and can't remember for the life of me how I did it in the old Xtreme. Perhaps Gary or another longtime user will remember.

Red, if you go to:Utilities>Options>Page and check the box
"Double page spread", this gives you a sort of second page,
is this what you were thinking of?

I'm so used to the Edit > Pages > New Page now with Pro, forgot that old way.
