My response was only AFTER the original poster's overly agressive, uncalled for attack on the Xara software that we all use and is the reason that we read this forum.

And you have the nerve to say that ***MY*** post was a slur?

If someone attacks me on the street, and I respond by knocking him on his ass, my position is defensive not agressive.

    ***THAT***is what was happening here.

One of the other mods mentioned that the mods here don't get paid. That is blatently obvious by the pathetically inadequate and unskilled moderation techniques used by several of the moderators here.

If the mods did get paid at least they could be fired. That's not such a bad idea in this case anyway.

When moderators' heavy handed and poor behaviour produces results as it did here, it's high time for new moderators that at lest have some clue what they are doing. HINT: Moderators should be moderate in their directing of forums!

However, having said this, if this thread does not return to topic or continues with opinions about moderation/moderators and administrator 'modus operandi' - this thread will very likey be closed permanently.

    Thank you
Moderators are here to prevent situations from escalating to a point where things are out of control.

This thread has reached that point (again). I am closing this thead NOW.

If you have any problems with me closing the thread please PM Risto, Sledger, Egg, Gary, Remi, Albacore, Mike Bailey, a4hire; or any combination of them.
