It is appreciated that people have given their time in providing a response to a question.

You can also copy the object, resize it (fill re-sizes), then paste attributes (Shft-Ctrl-A) to get the original fill size.
But the minus sign is quicker!
~ DanDaBear ~Some people think inside the box, Some people think outside the box, I think about the box
I had read this before... just couldn't remember the key. I think it was one of the gems that Neil or Charles drops ever now and then.
I don't have a minus sign on my keyboard!
I've tried to make the above work but I don't understand it.
So I make an object. I fill it with a bitmap. If I press shftctrla, the bitmap disappears altogether? If I do shftctrla on the bitmap itself, nothing happens. ???
Wasn't there a time when Xara filled the objects with the original size as standard and then if you wanted to change it, you could?
This is really causing me problems recently and I'l love to find a solution to this!

there are quite a few useful features accessed in xtreme via the numeric keypad
if you do not have one physically on your computer it may be worth checking in the manual to see if this can be accessed by use of function keys or similar

There's TOO, TOO many things to remember! I went on to Gary's Tips and there was 5 tips there that I didn't know I come back to this page and there is at least three more my brain can't cope with that. I have a small card at the side of my computer with the list of Hot Keys that I use and now it's going to be double sided. I really now find that my brain can't cope with both Adobes, Serifs and Xara at the same time cos there all different what happen to windows universal keys! bah.....Bah
