You're doing well so far. Once you get the vector shape (as the above post), then cut and paste it into Xara 3d to get the right shaped background. and re add the same texture that you have now.
Yes, you can speed up the animation - as below.

i really don't want to spend that much on this one animation!
please can u help, ive put all this effort in for nothing...
The effort you put in was a learning experience which is never for nothing.
All the members of these forums including myself volunteer our personal time to answer questions and help. Our time and effort was not for nothing, it provided answers to your questions and hopefully other people's questions.
The purpose of these forums is to be a place where people that use the applications can freely discuss technique and share ideas.
Xara Ltd provides the servers so that we can have this place to share and be a source of inspiration and incentive to people.

Without meaning to upset you, the $50 was not for one animation, it's for an amazing program that you will spend time using. If you don't need to spend $50 then you don't really need the animation either.
I hope that you do spend the $50 on the program, and am sure that after using it for a while you will agree that it was money well spent. In the end it depends on you, we here enjoy playing with graphics. As for me, the money I spent on Xara 3D and Xara Xtreme was the best value I have ever had for computer software.
Best Wishes

i can understand what you guys meant,
but all i wanted was this one animation, i spent time doing it, without realising, it would be unusable.
and i know if i bought the software it would be wasteful of me.
i know you say, that ppl have to try n do it themselves, but please just this once can you creat this graphic.
Soquilli started it just for a tutorial, please.
this would really do me a MASSIVE FAVOUR. and i dont want to have wasted this time, for nothing.
please.
Huntus if I give you the animation then there would be more people and more people after that.
By doing you one favour I would be doing every member of this forum a disfavour. This would become a place where we could no longer enjoy our time here but would be a place to avoid because of all the requests for free animations.
Sorry but I will not do that.
