A few ideas for the logo or banner. Can make them bigger or work on some others if you are interested.

There are 10 types of people in this world .... Those who understand binary, and those who don't.
The only thing I can see that needs altering is to capitalise the lower case "g" in "graphic Design" under the webmasterwidget.com text on the banner.
It sticks out like a sore thumb to me (being a pedant)

Bob.

Yes, it doesn't look right. It's interesting to focus on that 'g', yet totally ignore the 'h' of HTML. So what is the 'pedant' philosophy on capitals when 'little g' is bad, yet 'little h' is OK?
I'm having a little fun over this - I've worked with people who absolutely must have some text moved one pixel to the left, because it's glaringly obvious it's not in the right place, yet you know (well I do) that some other designer will think it's fine where it is (or it should be one pixel to the right).
Seriously though, how is your design nose deciding what's right or wrong here? If you're wondering I agree with you, though my programming side tells me that 'html' should really be all capitals as should 'Css'..
Paul
Not wishing to hijack this thread by becoming involved in a discussion on grammar, it really doesn't matter if everything was lower or upper case, or if individual letters at the beginnings of words are given capitals or not, pedantic philosophy doesn't really enter into it. I agree that consistency is key, though.
It is really more a question of style, and what looks "right". Netridge suggested that it didn't "flow" and I was merely suggesting a reason for this. Having no programming knowledge, I wouldn't wish to presume the correct way of displaying the acronyms.
Anyhow, after more consideration, my own opinion on the "webmasterwidget.com" text, is that it should have a solid fill, I'd go for a dark blue, and keep the white outline. The script below would be better in a slightly bolder font.
Very minor alterations, the overall look is good.

Bob.

It's all interesting stuff.
I like the texture on the large text and would be sorry to see it go!

So much discussion over text on my design
4Hire just looked at your designs nice, wish I would have seen them before. I spent some more time messing with my design and made the gear actually look like a gear .
It took me a while but I think I got it right. As for the text I will make some changes based on the suggestions that people have posted here.
