Color Editor Problem

There appears to be a difference in how XXP 3.2.4.3017 and the 3.2.3 version's Color Editor function.

It just might be a bug. But one that would never be found by a beta tester. I would imagine anybody who has used xara long enough to be able to beta test it, would have at least one personalized template. They could never duplicate the problem.

Did you open a XaraXP supplied template and check the colour editor first John?
Well, I did and all of the colour options are still there, even in RGB colour mode. No colour naming necessary.
I can't answer sherryks' question as I don't have an older version of the software to test, but I can say it would seem to me that it doesn't look to be a custom template issue at all, because the standard supplied Xara XP templates offer the same options (eg: All) in the latest version of XXP.
sherryk has only said she has version 3.0 of XX - perhaps this is where the difference is??

its as Bill said - works fine now in 3.2.4.3017, but works like Odat describes in 3.2.3.
Think it was just a temp problem due to changes to the way the color bar works in 3.2.3, now 'fixed'.

Interesting indeed. I installed the patch and now the color editor works as described. Extra interesting because in the list of things that 3.2.4 is supposed to patch, the color editor is not listed at all.

I never applied the patch since I wasn't affected by anything that it said it fixed, and the instructions said to update only if you were affected by any of those problems, and also I was being lazy.

That'll teach me!

So maybe the "fix" to my problem is to download the Patch? Sorry, my version is 3.2.3. Since the patch didn't say anything about the color editor I didn't download it before either. I can't tell ya'll how amazing this is. Ya'll are always ready and willing to help techno challenged folks like me.
