    Hi Faro,

Not a Mac user so I can only suggest something related to Painter X software itself and/or to your tablet.

At the moment, the only things that come to mind are:

    In Painter X

Have you installed the Painter X.1 Update on either of the machines? If so, install it on the other machine as well, so you're comparing apples with apples, so to speak.

Make sure your Brush Tracking settings are the same on both machines. That alone can make a huge difference in how brush variants behave.

Make sure your brush variants are restored to their default settings on both machines, then compare their behavior.

    Your Tablet

Make sure your tablet driver is the same on both machines.

Check to be sure the tablet controls are set the same on both machines. If it's a Wacom tablet, open the Wacom Tablet Properties dialog box to compare all of the settings and make sure you have them set to apply to Painter X on both machines.

I hope one or more of these suggestions will help you get everything working right.

    Good luck!
