How to create a plug-in for Xara ?

I've poked around for 30 minutes here and in help and on Google and can't seem to get the right combination of search terms to find any info...

How does one create plug-in's for Xara.

Does it require C or C++ programming... or a special Xara scripting language?

Does one have to become a licensed developer with Xara?

Is there an SDK (Software Development Kit) required?

Is there a scripting language or are their 'macro' capibilities in/for for Xara?

Most of the development for that info is held at xara.com. If your just after a plug-in for Live Effects? write it the same way that you would for a PhotoShop 7 plug-in as their all compatible.

I looked at www.Xara.com and didn't see any links for developers. I also Googled and searched these fourms.

I'm sure it is there at Xara.com but somehow I couldn't locate it... probably right there on their home page in 72 point type... so maybe someone would be kind enough to share a link...
