What web browser do you use?

I switched to Firefox from IE6 mainly because it is so easy to block images with FF, especially avatars in internet forums.

I use IE 7 but i like firefox. I suppose i've never bothered to get used to FF.

I have every browser installed anyway, for web design.

Ah, but Opera has widgets.

And one of my favorites is a little thing called StaySecure. It has a live feed to independant security analysis company Secunia and it updates in real time showing the current security holes in the various browsers.

I use Internet Explorer, comes with the OS and it allows me to browse and that's all I care about, I prefer to focus on more important things in life.

I've been using Opera since about version 6 (which I happily paid for), and am currently on versions 8.54 and 9.02.

Opera is small, fast, easy to install/move about, and since version 8.5, it's free. Opera invented the Tabbed browsing model that Firefox copied, and just works.

Opera is to browsers rather like Xara is to graphics programs.

Firefox because there are all those extensions to chose from. Also because it doesn't use ActiveX, which seems to get some IE users into trouble with browser hijackings and other malware.

I think Netcaptor was the first tabbed browser, so I suppose Opera, Firefox and others using tabs evolved from that.

I'd heard that Opera wasn't the first browser to have tabs but couldn't remember the name of the one that was. In the end, I took this reference from Asa Dotzler (a Mozilla man), although it looks like there were other browsers (to a lesser degree) before Netcaptor.
