I love the 3-d but....

[B]I find it hard to make just regular text looking good. FOr example I have a sentence like "Dont drink and drive" I change the font and it changes the whole thing. I just wana change the font and color or 3d on each word, is there anyway to do that? Also my text has to be like 1900x1800 but lags when i try to messes aroudn with the sentence.
I just wanan make EASY and FUN Text designs like ( CLICK BELOW)

Welcome to Talkgraphics Forum.
You can change the font, size and color of any word in a sentence, but you have to select it first with the text tool.
Here´s how:
Select the text tool, highlight the word you want to change (like in a text processor program) and then change the size, color wathever you want.

Then if you want to give a 3d effect to your text you can use the Bevel tool (and the shadow tool) to add depth.

Xara Xtreme can do that and other similar effects. See the quick sample below.

You may want to check out Xara 3D 6 too. It´s a specialized program that allows you to create 3d text effects quickly http://www.xara.com/products/xara3d/

Seems you are using Xara 3D and not Xara Xtreme Pro. This forum is for Xara Xtreme and Xara Xtreme Pro.

The image i created was done in Xara Xtreme Pro and to get that border, you just have to add a bevel with the.. hum... bevel tool

Regarding the last three images you posted, you can do that type of imagery with Xara Xtreme/Pro specially if you pretend to add some more elements besides the text (like the cookies in one of the images)

Ok which version do you prefer I get? Xara Xreme or Xara pro? I wont be doing any flashes anytime soon. My #1 objective is to may nice fonts like those links above

Xara Xtreme will do it assuming you don´t want to print your images comercially (offset printing etc).
