    Default Font Selection upgrade

Hi Xara, I'm still using your program everyday since I purchased it in January of this year. Well, I'm a font collecting maniac, and I would like to submit an upgrade for the next version. When I type a word in a lot of the other programs out there. I'm able to select and highlight the font in the program, then take my mouse wheel and stroll through say 200 fonts until I find the exact font that fits the composition I'm working on. But in my version of Xara I can only choose one font at a time. Can you imagine how long it takes to find the correct font. I have to use another program to find the font I want to use. Well, I'm sure the other companies don't have that copyrighted. Thanks for your time.

Well the fonts gallery doesn't allow scrolling through fonts to be reflected onscreen (as far as I'm aware), but it does show all the installed fonts, graphically as well as in a listing.

Are you using that or just the dropdown listing on the options bar?

Thanks, for the reply. I'm not sure how to do the display graphically. That might work for me. I'll keep clicking around. Thanks

When I have to serach for a font I usually just open a little app called The Font Thing. Cute little that shows all your installed fonts plus any other fonts you might have hiding here or there. Just paste your sample text into the app and scroll thru a list of all the fonts with the actual text... Nice and sweet and free too..

EDIT - oops where did this bit go:

I use Dmitry's Font Seeker too - I like nice simple apps that do what they say on the tin with no messy drips.
