Trouble with molds

When I create my own molds and apply them the mold works but the subject gets turned backwards, sideways, or upside down. How can I correct my mold creation to stop this?

Try reversing the path, using the shape editor tool, select the lower right corner point of your custom mold and click the "Reverse Paths" (looks like a bent arrow) icon. Then do the copy to clipboard thing again.
