Mine have always worked fine with any version of Xara and suddenly stopped.
Sorted it out now so I'm much happier, still don't want to watch any particularly. The best Xara movie was with a Xara Studo demo with a magazine years ago. That was the one that convinced me to look at Xara in the first place.

Problem with HTML Help on the PC. Relevant information on resolving this problem is available from:

Thanks, Derek, but I'm still not able to see movies.

It looked like what I needed was to install the fix (above), but I tried and it wouldn't let me. The installer complained that it could only be installed on XP with NO service packs. Unfortunately I have SP 2, which I needed for some other software, so I'm not sure how I'm going to solve my MOVIES problem.

I got info from Microsoft that indicated that I had to install an HTMLhelp ActiveX control. I followed their instructions and installed it, but it didn't help. When I go to Help > Movies, I get a list of them, but all the list items are inactive, just like the picture in Derek's original post in this thread.

I had the same problem. But it started after I installed the trial of Xtreme Pro and decided that since I'm not a graphic artist I didn't need to upgrade. I solved the problem by uninstalling Xtreme and reinstalling it.

I contacted XARA support and they gave me the same list of articles that Derek gave me last week. So I'm still stuck.

A long time coming I'm afraid I simply forgot to look at the thread.

    I went here

    http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...DisplayLang=en

and downloaded the file there and then they ran.
If your already sorted great if not then apologies for the delay and I hope it works.
