Default Making a white background transparent

    Hi all,

How do you remove the white background from a PNG?

The image was copied into MS Paint, as it is quite useful when it comes to simple pixel-based modifications, but when saved gets the white background which i really need to be transparent.

    Your help is appreciated.

The quickest way is to use the Plug In titled Mehdi Erase Classic which comes with the software. (pic below)

Select object with the background you wish to erase.

Then just click on the icon that looks like a plug on the tool bar on the left (see pic.)

Then click on NEW, and use your mouse to scroll down to Mehdi Erase Classic, click on that.

A dialog box will pop up like the one on my previous post. It it is by default set to a background color of white.

    Click Okay. You're done.
