Ah, good idea - however, have just tried it and got the same - the white background is still not there! How odd, eh?

any chance you would be prepared to post up the xar file at the stage just before the ctrl2 operation
I'd be interested to have a look
you can always delete it from the post afterwards

YES! Thank you so much - that's brilliant!
I'd be interested in knowing how you'd do it - but only when you're bored and you've got a spare minute, thank you very much again!
Chris
Hi, i was wandering how would you make the letters and cannon 3d of the arsenal badge. I have managed to get the badge 3d and spinning but am not sure on how to make the letters or cannon stick out. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Chris

Fantastic, thank you very much!
CNR - re Arsenal logo...
This is a case where you have to create other shapes for the parts you want to stick out, texture them with sliced pieces from the original logo, and then use the new line method. Or recreate the logo as a vector - you will get better results that way.
There are people here who can explain better - or browse some of the other threads here - like the earth slice - to get the idea.
