    Default Line management suggestion

    Hello,

Here I made a suggestion to manage line attributes:

First is the offset line attribute available for all kind of line. Currently it works only with some types.

Second is pixel as unit for line width.

I work in Web design where units are pixels and the lines are not "On line".

I had made suggestions here before and they always has been applied, I hope the same now, specially when most Web design software already got them but Xara.

    Greetings

You'll find this is available for brushes under the edit brush option. It is not available for the default line stroke.

I know and as you can see, I took the pull down menu from there, then, my suggestion is an improvement to that because:

    1. It would work with every kind of line (Now it does not happen).
    2. Offset to a line side with a simply click (Now you have to define a percentage for each type).
    3. Easy access from the line gallery at any time (Now you have to use the brush tool).
    4. There would be the window that you attached for further configuration.

    Rocko,

I find the simplest method is not to use lines at all. Create the shape with the required size in pixels (NO STROKE). Clone it and use the contour tool to create an inner or outer contour as required. You can set the size in pixels. Click on the inset path icon. Set fill colour to desired fill and send to back.
