It almost looks like the early tries from the Wright Brothers.
But this one is better in hot summer.
    Nice drawing!
Have your fun NOW. Maybe tomorrow it's too late...

The hat was an Apophysis 2.02 flame fractal saved to transparent in Ultra Fractal 3. You can use Apo 2.05 to do that too. I saw a 2.05 beta 2 available. Freeware. There are other methods as well.

I drew objects behind the fractal and map colored them in Expression 3.

The wings from a bug eating one of Laura's plants that I drew in E3. Xara works, also. The wings were colored in E3. I have lots of reflection maps for coloring. Just a project I got into.

The animation was done in XXP. Not something I have ever done before.

I tried a counter rotation, but the top image didn't display the transparency as I would like. More study on how this works. Rich

I did not see a hat until you said

Now I can see what appears to be a baseball cap shape. Perhaps you should put a head under it.

It took a while to dig up a head.

    Parahandy,

The wings in XAR drawing format. I am not sure if Expression Design will have the map coloring capability, and E3 may be the last chance. I see what I can do in XXP with SBP. Maybe I'll need to make a few environments.

Added a wing with SBP coloring.
