    OK.
There is the one already attached earlier this thread where the central graphic goes missing when opened in Pro. That was made in CorelDraw.
Other PDFs I've had difficulty with were made in Serif Page Plus which I was hoping to ditch after moving a PDF or two over to Xtreme but they are all to large to post here it seems. I've found and attached a smaller one which is text only but still wont open. The larger ones contain fairly high resolution photographs as well as text which accounts for the too large to post here file size.

Neil there is also the problem with large tiff files either not opening or taking way too long in the new version. Xtreme opens them straight away..thanks

That's interesting because I'm finding that tiff loading and saving is substantially faster than in the previous version of Pro and only a tad slower than in Xtreme.

Ok, I just found an old 45mb screen capture that opened relatively quickly in Xtreme and took about 5 minutes to open in Pro. (I have to remember that when Tao says "large file", he means at least 40mb. I don't usually think on that grand a scale.

Well, there's now a Jan 16th, 2007 version at the Xara downloads page.

I really wonder what's being changed, fixed, added - do these Xara dudes have any form of changelog going?
