Default Error on opening of Pro?

Can anyone explain the reason for this error message popping up when ExtremePro is opened?
I have the latest Jan 11 download but this has happened on both versions of dload of Pro.
Click ok and everything opens normally but would love to know why it is happening?
    Thank's

That is strange Kiwi, I've only seen that message when attempting to import an .eps file.

Check the properties of the shortcut you are using to open Xtreme Pro, it may have a filename included that should not be there.

    Bill,
Whether I open it (or the earlier downloaded version!) from my desktop or by right clicking an image (any file type, including xar!) I get the same error message.
This has been present from day one when I first paid for and downloaded the "Pro" version of Extreme.
I have sort of assumed that it was normal and would go away after the full CD's had been shipped and loaded?
I do still have Extreme loaded as well until the full pro is installed?
Below is the link that I use off my desktop ...

Unhappy Re: Error on opening of Pro?

My Xtreme Pro stopped working suddenly, it is the registered version.
It gives error when trying to download movies, when trying to import a pdf, and even when I try to export gifs and jpg's.

    Same problems with Xtreme (normal).
I cleared the registers (I hope), installed the software all again, but to no success.
I still had to use old X1 to generate the jpg which is attached.

I believe some register key has gone nuts, since they work on another PC I tested.

    Ciao
