Medallion

Hi all,

Total newb here so patience is appreciated. I run a website for a youth basketball company and am trying to improve our graphics. I have a lot of ideas but never know how to get started.

Anyway, my specific question is I want to make a medallion/coin type object with some depth to it, my efforts with the extrude tool are miserable. Any simple tips? Is that even the right tool?

I'd recommend you give Xara 3D a whirl, there are always spinning coins there and it is an easy software to do that in. The extrude tool is not that wonderful and needs an update for sure. It is easier to use PhotoPaint and get a good result. There is a Xara 3D forum on Talkgraphics.
