Getting two independent motions simultaneously is a good basis for some sophisticated animations. However, you will have to watch the file sizes for anything intended to be displayed on a web page. Your animation is 327K, containing 62 frames, and this will take so long to load up on a dialup connection that your intended viewers will be long gone before the page finishes loading up.

Try to keep animated images to no more than 100K, and there are a few things you can do to help keep down to that. One is to make the image itself smaller, (less pixels), another is to use fewer colours, 32, or even 16 colours, (less bytes needed to store them), and you can drop some intermediate frames to lower the frame count.

    Good start, though.

Cheers for the tips mike,....I have to be honest this is the first one I've created using xtreme so I was a bit chuffed to create something other than the simple animation that x3d provides.
I'm gonna go back to the drawing board now and attempt to create something a bit more technical than just using text.

I'll be back....as arnie once said.

    Thanks again.

    Cheers anas...

I've been working on an simple looking oscillating fan today.......

I've dropped the pallet colours a bit to make the file size smaller (nearly down to 100k) just a bit disapointed with the graininess of the final outcome.

Yet to add the base but getting there slowly.

Your fan reminds me of Pakistan, they have them everywhere. You rarely see them in England.
Nice imagination on the plastic grill, the bevel causes it to reflect the light beautifully.
