    Default altering elliptical objects

Is it possible to bend an elliptical object?

    If so how?

it seems simple to me that you can, but it may be that what you mean is diferent than what I mean.

create two eliptical shapes and select both f7 to select the blend tool and then drag a line between both. see attached.

You do have mold tools. That gives some capability. Rich

I just tried playing with Rich's suggestion. The mould tool really does work on ellipses. I never would have though of trying it, but the mould tools really let you do some fun things with the basic ellipse.

Make your ellipse editable shape then play with the shape editor tool - see attached.

"Intbel" ... "Can't" is not an option.

Compliance is futile. Resistance is futile. Just do your own thing an' ignore 'em.

Thanks to all for the help. It should make some shading done with elliptical feathering a bit easier to do.
