Combine shapes and undo bug

Hi everyone!

I think I've stumbled over a bug in Xtreme Pro. When combining two objects, of which one has a shadow, the object with the shadow becomes transparent!

To make matters worse, if you try to undo the operation, the combine operation is undone but the shadowed shape remains transparent - oops!

I've attached a file to demonstrate the issue - press CTRL-A to select both shapes, CTRL-2 to subtract the shapes. You should then have two transparent rectangles with shadows (obviously not meant to be transparent). Now try to undo it and things don't return to their previous state.

I've tested it on two different machines - presumably others can replicate this too

Nope, just tried your example file and have two triangles with shadows, but the rectangles are not transparent. I'm using the latest XPro download.

I see the same as Glenn, two rectangles with shadows. The undo returns to the original shapes in your file.

I'm also using the lastest Xara Xtreme Pro download.

Ahh - It looks like I have an older version dated Nov 28 - I'm away to try the newer version to see what happens!

Hehe, trust my luck... I bought and dowloaded Xara on 12 Dec and the newer version came out on the 13th Dec! I didn't notice the newer version was available.

Indeed, the problem has been fixed in the Dec 13th version Whew!

I didn't have the latest version, and when I tried the experiment, I got the same result...transparent images. Went to Xara, downloaded and installed the latest version, and the problem disappeared.

Another bug exterminated!
