We went camping in Death Valley when it was just starting to get really hot, and it was blistering on the hike we went on. Had to scale a sheer rock cliff, as the husband saw "petroglyphs" up yonder. Upon arriving up yonder, it turned out to be bird sh*t on a rock.

Who knows, they could communicate that way, could be like reading tea leaves, GOOD GRIEF!
We drank our tea and found the leaves
    So we then read them
This strange story of climbing up
    'twas foretold inside the cup
but then we come to the bitter bit
The blooming cup was full of s**t (with apologies to all poets living and dead)

    Norman,

    You have become the benchmark.

I enjoyed your "Flash" birds in all their vibrant colour

They are loverly birds. Best enjoyed in the wild unless you wanna be putting down paper every day. Have a brother who owns a parrot as a pet and didn't realize how long-lived they can be. He's been putting down paper or litter for 30 years now.

    "Benchmark?"

I groaned out loud at that one! LOL.

But the birds really are beautiful, Norman, and I even liked your poem...

both your birds are enjoyably great, Norm!! I do prefer the macqaw for the cartoonish style. you could make these birds 'forum friends' by an onging cartoon feature with them =} and of course, the title of your thread can put lots more birds here, if you so desire
