    Default Cropping on Corel Draw??????

How do I crop in Corel Draw? I read the help menu but it isn't helping me any. What I would to do is remove the white, or blank areas from a picture. Has anyone done or tried to do this before.

Select the CROP tool (3rd one down), and then outline the area you want to keep.

Once you have the area outlined to your liking, simply double-click INSIDE the outlined area.

It will delete everything not outlined by the CROP tool.

Okay, I have attached a copy of the image I want to crop. What I want to do is to crop out an outline of the image. Is that possible? Another thing this is a EPS file and may be opened in Corel Draw or Photoshop. Any advice will help

If you have an earlier version of DRAW than X3 there is no specific crop tool. The way you crop is to use the node editor and ctrl select two nodes on a side and drag to the correct position, in the opposite x or y axis, do the same to where you like it. Then "crop" becomes an available selection under "Bitmaps" on the Menu Bar.
Every day's a new day, "draw" on what you've learned.

I'm confused (but that's easy to do these days). Do you mean you want a TRACE or OUTLINE of the whole image, globe and all? Or just the globe part? If so, I can do that, but in CorelDraw, not by using the PHOTO-PAINT program.

I don't see what the confusion is bring the eps file into draw and you have outline.

If you have X3, you can crop vectors as well as bitmaps. And it works like any other crop tool.

The original image had the rectangular white background, so what I wanted to do was to just cut it off and have the logo only, sort of like scotty did. But what I don't understand is how exactly is that done. I am actually using Corel Draw 12. Sally, you said something about cropping vectors, is there a tutorial on this forum on that? Thanks for the help guys I really appreciate it.

    This is Scotty,
The attachment file was brought into Xara xtreme to post the file here as the forum doesn't recognize CDR extension.
But I just import your eps file then copied to clipboard and pasted in Xtreme then posted here.
I am running CorelDrawX3 and your eps file imported as outlines. I imagine 12 does the same. This what you just have the basic outline of the 'circle' and outline text. They are already backgroundless (not counting Drws page)
