I liked betamax, but VHS won

Movies on the Blu-Ray format are already available, but I haven't seen many on HD-DVD.

From reading the specs on both, I believe that Blu-Ray will support higher capacity for recording and video quality. Until I see them side by side, I wouldn't want to bet on a winning format at this time.
