Here's mine. It features an architectural rendering I did. Please don't mention the name on the building --- I wouldn't want people searching for the company to start finding this thread. All the stuff on the top-right quadrant are primarily my kids' stuff.

    Regards, Ross

Also nice to see what programs people use, you get a birds eye view of that now.

I belong to the group of people who tries to keep their desktop as empty as possible. Only the essentials are on it.
Did I succeed? You be the judge of that

(Oh, and Scrat always helps along when I'm trying to come up with a creative idea)

My laptop...A photograph I took of Denali (The Great One) and its reflection near Wonder Lake, inside Denali National Park.

For those of you that might not know, the Window key + the D key is a convenient way to bring you back to the desktop.

I have dual screen at home and work. I hate double heigh taskbars... but I'm surprised you don't have a taskbar on your right screen. Check out Ultramon at http://www.realtimesoft.com/ultramon/ -- I couldn't live without that one.
I'd start a revolution, if I could get up in the morning.

I use two monitors and while I'd never again go back to using one (how did I ever manage?) I have never felt a need to have the task bar across both.

The more you have the more you want ... and I keep thinking about adding a third monitor. Would you know if this can be accomplished by just adding another graphics card?
"Intbel" ... "Can't" is not an option.

Compliance is futile. Resistance is futile. Just do your own thing an' ignore 'em.

In case anyone is interested in how to make the background of desktop icon text transparent:
My Computer properties> Advanced tab > Performance Settings > check "Use drop shadows
    for icon labels on desktop."

Give it a go. Ultramon does other stuff too, equally as useful.

    Yeah, it would.
