Intbel, i just checked out the fonts gallery - had my text already highlighted and started going thru the fonts list
my highlighted text did not change at all UNTIL i hit apply and that is certainly not as good as dimitry's font prg
unless (and this is entirely possible) i am missing something obvious

Yup, you have to click "Apply" ... but then in the font columns you have an idea of how it will look anyways.

It is not as comprehensive as Dimitri's programme, agreed.

    Suits me though.
"Intbel" ... "Can't" is not an option.

Compliance is futile. Resistance is futile. Just do your own thing an' ignore 'em.

    Y'welcome.
Although not as comprehensive as a dedicated font-view prog. it does save having to open another application.

come to think of it Xara's own font gallery is my first choice but I've never clicked Apply.

You can just do a double click on the font to accomplish the same as Apply. Hadn't noticed the Apply until you mentioned it Intbel

I like to use a lot of dingbat fonts as the basis for some of my graphic designs. I find that some of the more complex TrueType fonts do not show up in the font gallery, and even some of those that do fail to show up on the work area when selected. Does anyone else have this problem?
