eps files exported from CorelDrawx3

Quite often when I export an eps file to overwrite an existing eps file the new file retains the date of the old file, although the file itself is updated.

This is causing me grief in that I now have to physically check that each file has in fact been updated, as when I open InDesign it does not tell me the files have been updated as it thinks the new file is the old one.

I had no problems when I was using CorelDraw 12.

Well, it is not something I do very much so I had no idea. You may wish to forward your findings to Corel. That way they can work on it.

That may seem like a megalyth of a challenge to get through, but it is the best way to get things fixed. I also talk on another forum, unleashed.com, and Foster Coburn has the right people to send the email to.
