'Snap to guides' doesn't work any longer

...suddenly objects won't snap to guides anymore, even though 'snap to guides" is enabled. snapping to the grid still works. I already removed/reinstalled Xara, but without success. Any ideas? Am I overseeing something in the options?

I think this happened to someone else a few weeks ago and I think the problem may be the Magnetic Snap Radii setting the Page Options > Mouse dialog. (Utilities > Options)

See attached illustration.

If this setting is 0 (zero) I do not things will snap.

Is this the problem?
