Congrats on victory Rick-X! great job!

Now I have keep reminding myself there is a new logo and not keep hitting the browser back button thinking I'm on the wrong page!

The wrong logo? My guess is that it was Rick's post #95 in the competition thread.

I actually like the the older logo better - this is one is similiar to that one but I feel as through the red doesn't match the style sheet - unless that is changing and i don't really understand what a smily has to do with graphics

I think a smiley is probably as much to do with good-natured discussion (as in talk) as well as sometimes jovial subjects (graphics)...

That's my take anyway. I think it's a superb logo.

The page will change in some way at some point, I've not finalized how much yet.

I feel the red is bold, but that's not a bad thing.

In terms of the smiley, just look how many are in this thread alone. The logo really conveys a lot: you have the speech bubble indicating the talking, the question mark referring to the man questions, the exclamation mark for a statement and the smiley for the friendly nature of TalkGraphics. Even the order is logical... question... answer... smile.

Yup. As I mentioned above, I am going to sort the curve out. Your one wasn't square so it wouldn't go up against the block underneath. So I tried to create a new one. Badly.
