Drifter, you do some amazing work. What font is it that you used for the microscope label? It's one I've been looking for -- the 1960-70 high-tech steel label I remember fondly from my mothers old cameras. Sorry I'm sort of a type junky and fascinated by typography. The font you used looks very authentic.Originally Posted by -=Drifter=-
Thank you. It's Square721 BT.

Ahh. Is that one that comes with the XaraXtreme CD? I'm still waiting on my shipmentOriginally Posted by -=Drifter=-
I just looked on the disc and I don't think it's there. It probably came with Word, or I just found it somewhere.
Anyway, I just googled it and you can get it (AND MORE) from here:

Hey Bob.
I don't get over to this section very often but I just had to come and check out what you have added.
Some realy great stuff! I especially like the one with the rust. It actauly made me cringe it looked so real. (I have a thing (fetish?) about keeping my tools in great shape. )
Keep em coming. please.

Thanks tirade! Sorry to have made you cringe - hahahahahahaha.
Here's a little pocket recorder I bought several years ago from Radio Shack. It was one of those things you think you MUST MUST MUST have and RIGHT AWAY.
Well, I used it for a couple of weeks and haven't used it since.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
It's a cute little thing, though.

Hey, it's all very well showing off how great you are at doing these tools, but I'd love to see the workflow you have to get to the finished item. How about a walkthrough of the steps you did to draw the voice recorder?
You've done great work and for most people that voice recorder could be a photograph.
Paul
Well, that's why I've been including the .xar files. Next drawing I do maybe I'll post it in stages. You can see how I started the bugle.
