Dominique, you're a genius!!
I've been messing about for ages to try and get the 24bit Mask plugin to appear, and now there it is. Thank you

An example of Eliminate Black of water drops on a spider web.
I used EB to remove the balce from the image in Xtreme. Saved to PNG, and did a little more cleaning in Photoshop. Needed a pixel selection capability. Saved out from there and opened the file in Xtreme. Drew a clipping object, and cut out a set of drops. Duplicated the set in X & Y, and cut the assemble to a multiple of the duplication distance. I wanted a tile that would work with all colors.

Cool! Sounds like a lot of work...

I was following this thread and tried the instructions: Placing both the filter and the associated DLL in the "D:\Program Files\Xara\Xara XtremePro\Xara Picture Editor\PSplug-ins\" (programs are stored on my D: Drive). However, the filter still doesn't appear in my "LiveEffect" function list.
Has there been a change in the way this filter needs to be applied in Xtreme Pro?
Thank you in advance.

The runtime DLLs such as MSVCRT10.DLL belong in the Windows System folder. I place a copy of Plugin.DLL in the Xara program folder.

This tip I read in another thread here at TG quite a while ago:
Tho remove the white background you select the bitmap > select LiveEffects tool > New > Mehdi > Eraser Classic (I cannot count how many times I used masks to remove the background before reading about this LiveEffect!)
