Glad you liked the drawing, I've used a few of those clips in my time. Like the metal. I see the viewer numbers creeping up Bob a very popular thread. Maybe you will get a gold medal. Keep up the good work.

Ooooooo! I just found a couple of things in a box I rec'd when my dad died. The next thing I attempt to draw will be another tool that you will have to guess at. AND THIS TIME I'm guessing Norm will guess it first! (But I won't get around to drawing it until tomw - most likely.)

If you click on the "Views" link on the top of each page, the posts will be arranged in a descending order. Right now it is in second place, just 200+ shy of Ross' thread. You have the stamina of a marathon runner, Bob... . And your drawings are improving fast too. I always believed that the best way to learn something is to do it. And you're doing very well indeed...

Something is not right Drifter. Maybe you should advertise
more or something. Your art is fantastic! I have half the talent as you
and I am getting decent pay to free lance here in Nashville.
If you were here I'd be out of work!

P.s Sorry to here about your dad. My dad just died in feb too.

Thanks Campbell - actually my dad (and mom) died many years ago.
I am hoping someone will see my work in this forum and hire me to work from my house.

Anywho, here is my next tool. This one people will have to GUESS what it is. And again, my guess is that Norman will get it first.

Looks like a vets tool for spraying animals to rid them of lice( actually) thats the name of the file lice_pump. I thought it was a gardeners tool for spraying plants.Nevertheless well drawn as usual Bob, hope you get some paid work out of this you deserve it.

hahahahaha, unbelievable! Norman, you got it right!!! But where does it say the name of the file?????? I don't see it. If that's the case, I'm going to have to start disguising the names of my pics.
Yes, this is a lice pump used to spray powder over soldiers or areas to kill lice.
Yes, it says Kleernote PAT APR 16 1918 AMERICAN DEVICE MFG CO ST. LOUIS, MO
Thanks for the compliments. No camera. Just place the object on the desk to the left of the keyboard and draw it with the mouse and keys. Xara makes it easy!!!!!!!
