Some help Bar codes & Food Symbols

Hello, can someone tell me how can i put a bar code on a product label?
Someone knows where can i find food symbols for product labeling?

What format is the bar code in? (Eps, TIFF, etc.)

There are some food images and symbols in the ClipArt Gallery in the Food and Drink folder.

Hi,
I use Xara since it was Corelxara and i bought Xtreme last week.Normally i digitalize it in TIFF, but now I'm making a label for a package of cookies, and i need to put a new bar code because the existing one is no good even to digitalize. I think CorelDraw has something to make the code bars we just have to write the number. How do you put the bar code on to a product label when you are design it ?

Is the barcode a UPC or an EAN barcode? If you know the information contained in the barcode you can use a font to print the actual barcode.

This link http://www.adams1.com/pub/russadam/upccode.html will give you some background information about UPC and EAN barcodes.

UPC fonts are not inexpensive. There are some shareware versions available at this link http://www.freedownloadscenter.com/B...font-free.html The least expensive is $95 USD.

You would have to know how to calculate the check digit for the barcode.

Your client should have an assigned barcode for their product and may be able to provide you with a tiff that you can import into Xara.
