    Default Help with transparency/pasting issue

I am a new user to Xara and am primarily using it for mapping surveys. I need to import a new survey drawing as a layer on the working drawing, but can't figure out how to do so in such a way that I will be able to see the working drawing to line up the survey marks. If I could somehow make the white background on the incoming file transparent all would be bliss.

    Any ideas?

    Hi Cak,

    Welcome to the forum.

After you import the new drawing, select it then the Transparency Tool. Select Flat transaprency shape and Stained Glass as the transparency type. The white background will be fully transparent.

In the attached image, I have two copies of a wireframe of a tiger drawing from the internet. The top one is without transparency, the bottom has Flat Stained Glass transparency as 0% transparency applied.
