Certainly makes "Penge, London SE26" sound rather mundane...

    Great self-portrait!

    Thanks Simon!
There's beauty unique in every moment, the magick is everywhere.

I like to take the path seldom trodden...and enjoy the discoveries along the way.

Can someone tell how this was achieved?

Program: Xara I suppose (I have coreldraw, can I do this?)

    Any other device/program: Tablet, etc.

    Thanks.

Nice challenge, will post some proper vectors later. This is some months old, used as sigpic as you can see. Mousehandpainted with the free software ArtRage over a self-portrait mobile phone shot.

It's a very fast & easy technique, and in my opinion yields far better results than the best photoshop filters.

I should really invest in a tablet or at least a proper mouse, freehand illustration is not much fun when you spend more time fixing paths than drawing them.

Anyway, some great portraits in the topic, thanks for the challenge!
