Here's a portrait of my me and my girldfriend that have been working on the last few days
Dur brain ... forgot to attach ...
James,
You have a very good ability to capture the subtle features of the human face. IMO, that is very difficult to do.
(from LogoVend to LogoKid, huh?)
Nice trace adjustments.
Every day's a new day, "draw" on what you've learned.

Hi james,
Subtle drawing and even if Sally is right nice composition.
Design is thinking made visual.
Sally that picture is not traced in any way shape or form ... so I take offence at what you're saying ... to prove so I'm going to dig out the original photo I worked from and see if you can get anything close to what's taken me 20 hours or so it took me to draw with you using tracing.
Nice ones here everyone -- lots of interesting styles! I had fun doing mine in simple shapes.

Hi Maya,
I like the technique! Would that be minimalist or impressionist? Either way it works well.

Hi Soquili!
Thanks -- I don't know what it would be called style-wise really. I just liked the effect of the shapes which change from sort of a profile to a 3/4 view when looked at further from the image...the shapes then blend together more. I liked the effect of that and the colors giving a bit of mystery and mood.
