Online utility - Dash pattern generator!!

Hi,

Finally I have removed some bugs in my online dash pattern utility!

Actually I did produce a version 1.1, but as I did testing I found that I was on the wrong path in the GUI I had produced. I also tried to import a generated pattern into Adobe Illustrator CS2, which did NOT like it!

Looking at the way that AI users were offered a GUI for defining dash patterns, I found inspiration for my utility. So there you are: My first online webbased has come to a stable version.

I will now be looking forward into other applications...

Generation 0..
One thing that I ask you to understand is that such generation 0 version of online webbased utilities has currently no integration directly with Xtreme. It means that you cannot (at the moment!!) take excisting drawings and do something with them. This is a big limit to what you can do with them, but hey!, they are in a sort of "beta-generation".

A security remark
Please remember that a file is produced which you download and perhaps open directly - some people might find that a path for sending bad files to your desktop - not me however. Just as a remark for future utilites...

Thanks for your nice discovery and idea, Netsi !

The only problem is for those who like me never use Internet Explorer ...! I use Mozilla. Perhaps you could use a bitmap generator for your on screen samples.

On the other hand, why not develop small external applications like Access did very succesfully with his spirals, fractals and other geometry generators ? I am not a fan of online depending applications.
