I haven't received mine here in Canada yet. I'm sure it will arrive eventually.

I received my Xtreme package here in Portugal, two days ago (27/12/2005). Everything fine and in good conditions
I think the problem may be less that we are under-informed, and more that we are over-informed through being so well connected with each other. If we had no idea when others received their CDs, we would probably be less impatient about receiving our own, understanding the inconsistencies of postal delivery as we all do. Mind you, it seems as though Xara Ltd. may rely a bit too much on informal forum activity to get info out, rather than providing it to all of their clients more directly.
In the meantime, I hope it helps to know that the CD version and the latest download release appear to be identical -- they are both numbered 2.0e and they both behave in the same way when used.

I received my copy (n0 Manual) yesterday the 28th here in BC Canada.
But the delivery may be the company pressing the CD's maybe they deliver according to order dates.

Hey Scotty Did you finally get it installed? Willy
Yes I did but it went to the wrong drive! Oh well at least it is there..thank you for the installation method. At first "add remove programs didn't acknowledge Xtreme down load version, but when I finally got monitor and drivers installed it finally apeared int the add remove program directory. Trying to setup two things at once on windows confuses me

I got mine in Southern California today and it came with the book. I have not had the great adventure of installing it yet. BTW, the book is not a majorly thick thing, it is about 1/2" thick and 6 5/8" x 9" high. I could give that to you in picas, points, cm, mm, etc. if I know your unit of choice. It smells new and it has no coffee spills on it until tomorrow morning, that is.
I'll tell you if you missed anything if you didn't purchase it later.

As long as it smells new, that's all that counts. I LOVE the smell of new books. (Decent content is a second requirement.)

I'd be interested in your views on the book - I ummed and arrred about purchasing with the CD but didn't.
My CD came 22nd December (but I am in the UK).

Best way to learn of course is the tutorials, just reading about it, you still have to sit down and practice. It is the way I learned and taught myself before I could do tutorials on the web.
For a ready reference which you can look up, it is worth that. It isn't an especially thick book, no way an AutoCAD manual.
Rather like a PaintShopPro approach, but with more polish and finesse.
Still for the money and what books cost these days, it is worth it to me.
