This is a beginner's tutorial from effectively a Xara beginner (I've owned a couple of different versions of what is now Xara X/treme over the years -- three if you include the Xara Studio viewer :) -- but I don't often have cause to actually use it, so my skills are permanently rusty).
I wanted to generate an infinity symbol recently, and as is often the case when I use Xara, had to teach myself something about the program along the way. I decided to make a tutorial in case it helped others (or prompted the more experienced crowd to point out the super-easy way I was missing :) (edit: which, naturally, has happened! :) hopefully the methods I used will still be of some use to other novice users, if perhaps only to demonstrate ways of combining shapes together, and making your own moulds!)
I found a couple of completely different methods (I used the first, and discovered the second while playing around later on) and thought I'd write them both up.
