ok the sky cleared up now i just need to wait till the moon breaks the tree line and hope the clouds stay away. going to try to use a 2x barlow lens to see how much closer it appears.

update at 9:15 I GIVE UP clouds rolled in severe thunderstorm warnings rolled. i am doomed with cloudy skies
