I have a circle with a radius of lines turned into shapes. When I subtract the lines from the circle, the circle's outside diameter is no longer round, there are edges now. In the attached file the images on the top left is the circle with lines, then the image underneath is one that has had the lines subtracted. Any ideas why the circle isn't staying round?

    thanks,
    Jonah

Not sure why but I have noticed that too.

In the workbook tutorial on the compass rose, there is a work-around for this.

You could you try uploading your attachment again. I'd be interested in seeing your example as I'm not quite sure I understand what you've observed.

I have noticed this time and time again. What I suspect is once a circle has been modified, instead of the four control points used to define the four arcs of the circle or ellipse, many control points are added which make the outline more like a series of straight lines.
