Thanks Maya, I love the spooky stuff.
Its great to see your art appearing in the gallery. http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif
Are you still using Mojo and ZBrush?
Hi Mike! http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif Thanks, I was away from doing any art really for many months, and I also went to New Zealand twice, so I spent about 6 weeks over there. I've only just resumed doing some artwork and just got PS7 so these little images are my first forays into playing with Photoshop7 and learning what it can do. http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif I'm loving it though, it feels very natural to me to use and is my favorite ap now. I still have MJW but haven't done anything recently with it, ZBrush the same --- but I think I'll save ZBrush for when I have a puter with more RAM and can handle the 100% cpu usage which goes on even when it idles. I'm leary of that, I don't want to have a melt down just for using ZBrush! http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/eek.gif I also have Painter8 which I have yet to play with....AND Satori PhotoXL which is another great paint program. So, I've got plenty in the toolbox, along with Xara as well, to goof around with and I'm just getting started. I'd heard all these things about PS being hard to learn, etc. but I haven't found it to be at all that way, and I just love it. It may be a huge ap but it really is a powerhouse with what you can do with it.
Autumn is my favorite time of year...also Halloween my favorite holiday, so I started with these themes in PS and the starfields I posted earlier.
here's an experiment in PS just playing with the leaf brush and a font then trying for a 3D-like effect using the blending options...FUN!
